This project involved the complete renovation and modernization of a newly purchased residential bathroom for a family home located in Chilcotin, Vancouver. The existing bathroom was outdated and no longer aligned with the client’s functional needs, quality expectations, or contemporary design goals.

The clients requested a full renovation and upgrade of the space, and I was responsible for the entire project from concept to completion as an NKBA Member Certified Designer. My role included design development, space planning, material selection, lighting coordination, construction supervision, and full project execution oversight throughout all phases of the renovation.

The scope of work included complete demolition, framing preparation, plumbing and electrical upgrades, waterproofing, custom millwork installation, large-format tile installation, integrated lighting, and final finishing details. The redesigned layout features a frameless walk-in shower with a built-in bench and recessed illuminated niche, a freestanding soaking tub, and a custom double vanity with integrated storage and under-cabinet LED lighting.

The overall design focused on creating a warm and modern bathroom environment with clean architectural detailing, functional organization, and durable high-quality finishes. Careful attention was given to construction precision, lighting balance, material coordination, and overall spatial harmony throughout the entire project.
